Korean Market

This Saturday, I went to Korean market with my friends. That is in Iowa city.It took 2 hours by car from here. Even though name is Korean market, there are a lot of Japanese foods in there. I’m tired of American food, so when my friend asked me”Do you want to come with us?”. I said “Yes” immediately.

I looked forward to going there, so I was excited. Because it’s been a long time to eat Japanese food.

There were so many Korean, Japanese, Chinese stuff. I couldn’t decide what I was going to buy. Actually, I wanted to buy a lot of stuff, but those are imported stuff, that’s why They are so expensive, so I had to choose What I was going to buy.

After I thought over it over and over again, I decided to I bought noodle, miso soup, and Japanese snack.

I love all of them. I’m going to eat little by little.

Korean market was so fun place. I want to go there again if I have time.

Bad day

Today, I woke up at 2 pm. I wanted to wake up early, but I couldn’t. anyway, my roommate woke up at the same time. we went to the cafeteria and ate some foods. After that, We went to Brimpee to get some stuff. And then we went to the south village and meet friends. then we went back to our room. After we came back our room, I was doing net surfing. While I do that, I noticed I lost my card case. In card case, there were my student ID, credit card, Japanese driver licence, and so on. I was really really upset. I looked for everywhere. My roommate helped me. He looked fo together and he gave me a ride. We went to Brimpee twice, and I told my friends live in the south village. They give me some advice, and they helped me.  My roommate looked for so much even though I almost gave up. After we took a dinner, we are supposed to go to the Brimpee again, but when we walk the 4th floor, RA told me we found it. I was relief very much. I found it finally even though card case and cash are stolen.I really appreciated for my roommate, my friends, and the person who found my cards. In addition, as soon as I asked my mother to block my credit card, my mother did that for me. I can’t find the words to tell them this feeling. I’ve never happened like this after I came here, so I was really upset, but there are many kind people around me. I’m really glad. I can sleep very well tonight.

I was depressed, but he enjoyed.

My University

In this post, I’m going to introduce my university. My university’s name is Waseda University.

it is built in 1902. “Waseda” is the place name in Tokyo, and it is the oldest private school in Japan.

There are a lot of foreign students, especially from Asia, and 44000 students study in this university.

Waseda is not only one of the highest rank university but also sports is famous.

Rugby, baseball, soccer, and track & field are famous, and school color is dark red.

There are 13 majors, and when you take the entrance exam, you apply what you want to.

My major is the sports science. One of the campuses of sports science is located in Saitama, not Tokyo.

Obviously, in this campus, we study about sports. Of course, we not only listen to the class but also play a lot of sports.

To get a lot of places to play sports, it is located in local place.

Actually, we have 9 campuses, but mostly classes can take in 2 campuses.

Even though Waseda university is the oldest private school, There is a private school that is built same time.

That is “Keio university”. they have had the relationship before World War second. their relationship is really famous in Japan, and we competitive a lot of things. Among of them, the most famous event is sports. It is called “Soukei-sen”.

 A lot of Alumni and students that they are not Waseda or Keio come this game as if professional game.

I love my university because it has historical, traditional. In addition, there are  a bunch of people, so you can meet various people. After this fall semester, I’m going to go back Japan, and I’m going to go to this university for a year. I’d like to go to watch a lot of games.

 

My Home Town

My hometown is Kariya in Aichi, Japan.Kariya is the rich city that is improved, so Kariya has great facilities and many companies offices. Technically, a lot of companies make Kariya be rich. One of the company is “TOYOTA”. They have a lot of factories, and many of them is in Aichi. In addition, many of parts companies that make car parts Toyota need them to built cars are in Kariya. That’s why, Kariya is a rich city. This time I’m going to show you what is rich, what facilities is in Kariya.

First of all, Kariya has Public bus for free. Everyone can get on the bus for free. This bus goes around Kariya city, and many of citizen use this bus. This bus goes to every public facility in Kariya, so even if they don’t have a car, you can go to the hospital or somewhere like that. I think it’s hard to be free for everyone unless they have money.

Second is service area. service area is the place to be rest if you are tired while you drive highway. Originally, service area has a convenience store and a restroom, that’s all, but recently, a lot of service area has various facilities like the amusement park. Kariya has a service area named “Kariya Highway Oasis”. This service area has a lot of food stores, shops, and a hot spring. Moreover, there is a “Ferris wheel”.

This place is getting popular today. “Kariya highway Oasis” became the place that is third largest attendance in Japan even though officially, that is not the amusement park. First largest is “Tokyo Disney Land”, and second largest is “Universal Stadio Japan”. many people come from all of Japan.

Kariya is improved actually but is not the urban city. I think they think it’s important to keep their atmosphere. I like this city. I don’t live in Kariya because to go to university. I use to live in Tokyo  before I came the USA, and I’m going to live in Tokyo after this fall semester. I don’t know if I live in Kariya in the future or not. but Kariya is the important place for me.
